About Dr. Mable Springfield Scott

Born in Memphis, Mable Springfield Scott's career began in Memphis radio.  In NC, she worked with WFMY-TV 2, Greensboro City Schools, Guilford County Schools, NC A&T State University, and Rockingham County Government.

Her book is "FAITH OVER FEAR, Bishop Charles Harrison Mason & the Church of God in Christ."  She was featured in the book, "Crowns: Portraits of Black Women in Church Hats."  She served on many Boards, been a volunteer hospital chaplain; and is a licensed evangelist/missionary and Sunday School teacher at Wells Memorial COGIC in Greensboro, NC.  She and her husband co-host "Your Sunday Morning Praise Party," on 90.1 WNAA-FM Radio.
Mable's community outreach non-profit is AMEN; she's a member of COGIC Scholars, Society for Pentecostal Studies, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and Eden Rotary Club.  

A graduate of the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, her master’s and Ph.D. are from NC A&T.  Husband, Paul, retired as a Ball Container supervisor in Reidsville; and is an ordained minister.  They have two adult sons, Paul and Joshua.
